Is it safe to buy or sell on Pineapple Nest?

Profile photo checks support community trust, not legal identity verification or proof of ownership or funds. Buyer readiness is self-declared. Use your solicitor for legal checks, keep financial documents private and take normal viewing safety precautions.

Pineapple Nest uses a profile photo check as a community trust check, not legal identity verification, proof of ownership or proof of funds. Solicitors carry out legal identity and anti-money-laundering checks; buyer budgets and readiness are self-declared, not independently verified.

How do I know the price is accurate?

We use a two-tier pricing system. Sellers who have uploaded a chartered surveyor's valuation display a 'Verified Price' badge — backed by an independent professional, not an agent's guess. Sellers without a survey can still list with a 'Guide Price'. In Scotland this is part of the Home Report; in England and Wales we encourage the same standard — the Pineapple Standard.

Will my property appear on Rightmove, Zoopla, or OnTheMarket?

No — Pineapple Nest is an independent platform. Your listing won't appear on Rightmove, Zoopla, or OnTheMarket. Instead, your property is marketed directly to matched buyers within our growing community.

Do I need a solicitor?

Yes. In any UK property transaction, you need a solicitor or conveyancer to handle the legal process. In Scotland this includes missives, title checks, and settlement; in England and Wales it's exchange of contracts and completion. We recommend instructing one early.
